Culture News: Abortifacients to Kids via Vending Machine for $25

Although it's illegal to sell the Plan B "morning after pill" (which terminates pregnancy) to children under the age of 17 without a prescription, anyone capable of using a vending machine on the campus of Shippensburg University (near Philadelphia) can easily obtain this dangerous drug.

Abortion reality lost in fight

 Planned Parenthood would appear to have won this latest skirmish in the abortion wars. The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, having first decided to withdraw future grants to the world’s largest abortion provider, quickly retreated under a barrage of accusations, complaints and threats.

No fewer than 26 Democratic senators signed a letter to Komen saying, in part that, “It would be tragic if any woman – let alone thousands of women – lost access to these potentially life-saving screenings because of a politically motivated attack. We earnestly hope that you will put women’s health before partisan politics and reconsider this decision … ”

The Obama administration’s abortion rule

WASHINGTON (BP) -- President Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services has issued a requirement that all insurance plans under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), also known as Obamacare, cover free-of-charge certain so-called “contraceptives” that are actually much more than that.

Some of the drugs and devices required to be covered will actually cause abortions. The required drugs include Ella and Plan B, both of which can destroy a developing human being prior to, or even after, implanting in the mother’s womb. The government requirement also covers IUDs. These devices also prevent fertilized eggs from implanting in the mother’s womb. While some, including the Obama administration, call these contraceptives, they are abortifacients. When a developing human being is expelled by direct human action from the mother’s womb, that is taking a human life -- an abortion.

Alabama Senate To Consider Anti-Abortion Bill In Session

WOODVILLE, AL — One of the items up for debate in the upcoming legislative session is an anti-abortion bill. Senate Bill 5 would legally define humans as persons from the moment of fertilization and implantation.

'Personhood' at conception bill passes to Oklahoma Senate floor

OKLAHOMA CITY — A bill that would declare that personhood starts at conception is headed to the Senate floor.

Senate Bill 1433, by Sen. Brian Crain, R-Tulsa, passed the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services on Monday, the first day of the legislative session.
